	Dalik, Tom	Please pray for all of us in the book club to be open to God's leading, especially Fran and Michael who are likely not believers. Please pray for Herman and Kristen and John and Liz as we start the parenting gathering with them. We desire to see them give their lives to Christ and hopefully see a new church start. Please pray for Marie, Clint, Max, Cody, Will, Maria, Luke, Kate, Bob, Janice, Summer, Jimmy, and Mark. They are all neighbors in the apartments that we are building relationships with and desire to share Christ with. We have been able to have spiritual conversations with Bob, Marie, Luke, Kate, and Max to date. Please pray for Tim and Laura as they are having significant financial problems and have been unable to sell their home. Pray for Craig and Becky as they set out on a 6 week plus cross country road trip on October 11th where they hope to meet and fellowship with, and learn from others who are involved in house churches.	10/1/2008

	Disharoon, Randy	Pray for good balance between church, work and family. As you can imagine, as our congregation grows, so do the needs and I do not want to srain my family time as a result. Pray therefore for God to raise up godly men and women who can serve as deacons so that I can continue to concentrate on pray and the ministry of the Word.	9/22/2008
	Dorman, Lloyd	Mark and Laura Carter were part of our core team. They have moved back to their home state of Arkansas with hopes to launch a discipleship ministry there. Through Your Next Step we have started a local discipleship school that is nine months long and 170 hours. There are 20 of us in the class that includes a survey of Old and New Testament, Discipleship/Mentoring and small group training plus Leadership Development. We have 5 adults from A Simple Church taking the course. We are serving six churches who have sent us students. These include full-time staff and key volunteer leaders. A Simple Church folks are also actively involved in serving our community. Habitat for Humanities, leading additional small groups (that we've not yet put under our umbrella but would add to our numbers), serving those who are serving the nations in connection with the IMB in China, inner city, Africa, India, China, Europe, and soon to be Costa Rica.	9/22/2008

	Francis, Edward	Pray of our up and coming church prayer and fast. Beginning Friday October 17th through Tuesday November 25th. Our fast will be a total church concentration of seeking the Lord for direction and purpose. Also if you could pray for my family as we have received great news that we will be expecting another child in May. My wife and I have encountered two miscarriages in two years, and we have already exceeded the last two stages.	9/30/2008

Pray for me that I can see an up turn in my business, it has been extremely slow,it's making fiances very difficult. other than the funding that I recieve from the convention, I take almost nothing from church, which has allowed us to move the building program forward. 	Price, Jeff	Pray for continued community relationship development. Our relationship with the local recreation department is strong and probably about 1/3 of our church entered through this connection point. Pray that we manage our time and resources well as we look to move forward and meet growth challenges. Pray for the development of our many new and young Christians as we disciple and prepare them to be in leadership. Pray for my health as I have been advised to make several lifestyle changes by my doctors and one being to let some activities and functions go. This is hard since some of what they want me to let go is, in my mind, ministry related. However, as a Christian friend advised, 'You can't minister flat of your back or from the grave'. Pray for more shoulders to help manage more of the burdens with regards to time.	9/30/2008

	Stewart, Steve	Pray that as we begin our new church year, and move toward the implementation of in-home LIFE Groups, we will see a high percentage of our Sunday morning worshipers become involved in small group discipleship/fellowship. Pray for workers to volunteer to assist in our children's and youth ministries as we expand these to better provide for these age groups. Pray for enough volunteers to open their homes so that we might have enough host homes for our LIFE Groups. Pray for facilitators in each of these LIFE Groups.	9/30/2008
	Thompson, Mike	We are having our first service this Sunday. We have been diligent in inviting those we have been building relationships with to attend. Pray that we will honor God no matter who shows up. Pray for our family to break through the sickness that has been hitting our family (especially my daughters) for months. 	Wright, Theodore	Pray that people will respond favorably to the Membership 101 course. Jean is still having some health problems. She is suffering from her 3rd sinus/allergy infection in 4 months. Many others in church are also suffering from sinus, allergies, and the flu. Some have been absent from church and work because of these conditions.	9/25/2008
